Women’s economic resilience

The chance to rebuild.
The freedom to move forward.

Learn about HRAH’s focus on women’s economic independence and the background of its 2025 support initiative for Ukrainian women entrepreneurs.

Economic independence is part of human dignity

Women rebuilding after violence, displacement, or war often face overlapping pressures: lost income, damaged workplaces, interrupted community ties, and responsibility for their families. HRAH’s interest in economic resilience connects these practical realities with women’s rights and long-term stability.

Background: a 2025 support initiative

In 2025, HRAH published an appeal concerning a Ukrainian woman entrepreneur whose commercial property in Odesa had been damaged during the war. The stated campaign period ended on September 6, 2025.

That appeal is historical, not an active campaign with a current fundraising deadline. This page does not present the old target as money currently being raised or promise a specific distribution of future gifts.
